Emily is an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Foresite Labs, where she is building a new company to improve access to precision healthcare.
Emily was previously a senior director at Oxeon Venture Studio, where she led Oxeon’s seed investment arm and built de novo companies, including Empassion, a value-based MSO supporting advanced illness providers in delivering end of life care, and Eleanor Health, a value-based substance use disorder provider. During her time at Oxeon, she led investments within pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, workforce enablement, and interoperability.
Prior to Oxeon, Emily spent several years at Deloitte consulting, she partnered with large Medicare Advantage plans and health systems to co-develop new solutions to meet the needs of their populations. Having worked across venture capital, early stage startups, and consulting for large healthcare organizations, she brings experience across population health, behavioral health, provider enablement, utilization management, and women’s health — with a deep understanding of how to drive innovation across large organizations.
- Emily earned an MBA from The Wharton School with a focus in healthcare management, and a BS in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University.
